i,Call Manager Ex is a freeware application for Blackberry Smartphone’s.  i,Call Manager Ex shows the area code, city, and state of the incoming caller.  The software application pinpoints the caller’s location on the Blackberry Maps application.

You will know where the call is coming from within the United States (will cover all cities in North America in the future).  Mapping caller’s location is automatic with every incoming call.

How does i,Call Manager Ex work?

It’s very simple, on all incoming calls the application looks up the area code from the local database and displays city and state on the incoming call phone screen; or send city and state to Blackberry’s Maps to pinpoint location automatically.

Installation instructions

1. Download the installation file and save it to PC.


2. Unzipped the downloaded installation file.
3. Launch Blackberry Desktop Manager.
4. Connect Blackberry phone to PC
5. Launch Application  Loader



6. Click Add button and browse to the unzipped application folder created
7. Select all files listed in the folder, click Open


8. Application Loader will list several code modules.  Select Next and then select Finish.
   
   

   PLEASE NOTE:  After installing the appropriate .ALX file, two messages will appear:
   1 - Asking if it is okay for i,CallManagerExUS to access phone logs – Select Yes
   2 - Asking if it is okay for i,CallManagerExUS to access GPS – Select Yes

How do I remove the i,Call Manager Ex application?

1. In the Blackberry Home Screen, select Options, select Advanced Options, and then select Applications
2. Scroll to i,CallManagerEx, select the BB menu key and select Delete from the menu.
3. Scroll to Nap2xx, Nap3xx, Nap4xx, Nap5xx, Nap6xx, Nap7xx, Nap8xx, and Nap9xx then select Delete from the BB menu options.
4. Press the Escape key and return to the home screen.
5. Remove battery and all other code modules will be automatically deleted.

User Manual

Select the i,Call Manager Ex icon on Blackberry Home Screen to start.  The application has 2 options to look up phone numbers:   
1 - Automatic lookup
2 – Manual lookup

Automatic lookup features
The application will look up city and state automatically on incoming calls.
Available options:           

1.  Look up Address Book will automatically look up only if the caller is in your BlackBerry Contact list.
2. Look up Non Address Book will automatically look up only if the caller is Unknown.

“Pinpoint Caller’s Location”: Automatically pinpoint city and state where the caller is calling from.
“Display City and State”:   Automatically display city and state where the caller is calling from.

Manual look up features
Manually type a phone number to lookup what city and state the number belongs to.
